Got a call from this number on Dec 17th and again today, Dec 19th. No message left and it's not one of my usual spammers, so I called the number just to see if I would get what I suspected... And I did. Got instant recording that "this number is not in service." So, it's just as I suspected... one of the many scam attempts that ramp up during the holiday season. Don't know whether is was an telemarketing scam or an identity/credit card theft attempt, but it doesn't matter. My call blocking app bounced them to voice mail (without ringing the phone, which is lovely) and they didn't leave any message so my peace was undisturbed by such nuisance calls.
