It is an individual who is seeking a donation for Civitan which helps children with developmental disabilities.
They called and asked my help by giving a donation to assist them to put on a festivity in Glen Burnie, Maryland for developmentally disadvantaged kids with clowns, etc. The woman was extremely professional and courteous. I said I would donate. She is sending me the information in the mail and a return envelope for my donation. It sounds like a really good cause.
I am very upset about this person or people. Be aware they have multiple numbers, so if you block them, they will just keep calling back. It sickens me. If you want this organization to call you, fine, but I don't. They are annoying, pushy and invasive. They are not getting a penny of my money.
Received a call from these people at 9:15 pm tonight. I hung up and blockedf futuer calls from this name and number! Why would any legit non-profit or anyone call after 8 pm? You are right - very annoying and rude!
