i just recieced a call from this person who sounded indian, they are trying to act professional and ask for money but when i ask if they please not call me again they said [***] you i will call you again and when i said they will be reported to the authorities they hung up
Just received a call from these people as well, the man does have an accent and said I was going to receive a Government grant. Well first off a grant it totally free and you would never be asked to pay a processing fee for them to process a payment, and if so, the could take it out of the check. SCAM give away. I have heard of others being taken for thousands of dollars cause they gave them their information. I would not give them a penny and they can call all they want cause am going to block them. I told them I did not have a checking account nor any credit cards on my and they just kept insisting on calling me back and they said some story that he could only hold my application for 2 hours, what ever, you can hold it forever cause I'm not giving up any of my personal banking information. Everyone has to be really careful these days cause there is so many scammers out there and they are getting away with this and especially on teens and older people and its really said cause we all work really hard for our money and need it to survive and they just continue to get away with this crime. Maybe the government needs to be focused on this type of things that are happening. IT WAY TO EASY FOR PEOPLE TO GET AWAY WITH PRETENDING TO BE DEBIT COLLECTORS, INVESTIGATORS AND OTHER FRAUDSTERS. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT BECOME A VICTIM, BLOCK THESE NUMBERS AND IF SOMEONE WANTS TO COLLECT A DEBIT, SEND A LETTER CAUSE I DON'T ANSWER UNKNOWN NUMBERS OR BLOCKED CALLS.
