I got a call on my cell phone while I was helping my children do their homework, I answered, I pressed one to talk to a representative and waited on hold so I could ask them politely not to call me anymore. While on speaker the representative threatened to call me every day and called me a [***] in front of my children. Needless to say they will not be getting a Christmas card from me this year!
WARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are B I G credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give these lowlifes your credit card number, or you will regret it forever!
BEWARE is exactly right! These goons threatened me, my family and "every person you ever knew or might know". They have just been fined nearly 1 Billion dollars AND they have NO recourse. They paid the FTC approximately 2 weeks ago. Anytime you get these abusive callers, just send a quick email to the FTC and be amazed at how much they dislike these jerks. If possible, I think it's probably more than I dislike them!

If you have credit cards, the ONLY time you should ever recieve a call from them is if they notice activity on your credit card. The calls will always come from a toll free number, they will identify themselves, and they will not ask you for information. They simply want to confirm that you have made the purchase in question. I was very happy to deny a purchase and the individual that had made the card was arrested before getting out of the store.
"hello this is card holders services, there is no problem with your card, but since you have made your card payments you now --blah,blah,blah." another scam call and we are on a no call list, these calls are very unwanted. we get the same calls same message but from different phone numbers and if you try to call back the phone number isn't even in use.
