They called and wanted me to renew my subcription to a magazine and they would in return send me a $100 gift card. I said no thank you and now they keep calling and hanging up on me.
Claimed they are going to give me 5 subscriptions to a magazine since I was already subscribed to Cosmopolitan. (I know that I only do online transactions for Cosmo, never pay over the phone). The lady over the phone wanted me to pay for the processing fee...(yeah right!) I was already ALMOST scammed like this before, I definitely said some mean things, before hanging up.
DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM.

Besides, readers of Cosmo KNOW that we refer to the magazine as simply cosmo. ..NOT cosmo--politan. SCAM
I just received one too. Same thing almost... didn't say what magazine I was a loyal customer of, but with my credit history, and buying from them before (didn't recognize the firm, and can't remember it now), but as an added incentive besides the 5 magazines, they were authorized to send me a $100 gift card to use at Walmart. Yea right... and listed 5 magazines.. Better Homes and Gardens, Marie Claire and 3 others. But I didn't have to stay with these 5, I would get a list of others and a phone number to call to change my listing for the 60 months. And I would only be charged $2.99 a week "processing fee", the magazines were free. And I could pay for a few months at a time, lump them together, not have to pay weekly.
I said they did NOT have my permission to send me the magazines, I was NOT interested and do not send me anything, I would not pay.
