Call came from Delaware. Host Merchant Services. Wanted to give me some fantastic rate on credit cards. Told "Henry" that I was not interested and to take me off their calling list. He said he would and wished me a "good day."
A follow-up to my previous comment on this telephone number which shows Host Merchant Services which is located in Delaware. It is not part of Wells Fargo but is their bank they do business through. They do seem to be a legitimate business but I still have the same rule. Do business locally and do no business with companies that use telemarketing on the phone. That's my advice but no matter who always check them out throughly.
Wells Fargo is the merchant bank for many "ISO's - Independent Sales organizations" selling merchant services by FirsatData Inc (the largest merchant processor in the world)
I don't sell these services but I can tell you these ISO's and the First Data independent sales offices actually offer better rates than the banks or the corporate reps. Weird I know but we found this out first hand.
I came here because we got the same call at work with no answer
hello reader:
I keep a spreadsheet of these happy calls and recommend you do that also; Over a year or two it is rather interesting the fine people actually out there.. This one is a first time dial; No one spoke, but now they know my number is live.
