Scam call about a free website and Google listings.. They never stop calling me...
Don't press any numbers to speak with anyone or to be removed. That is how they find out that they dialed a real person. Your real phone number has been classified as a number to be called back and sold to other scammers.
This robocall insisted 9 times that they speak to "the business owner". Why does it have to be the business owner? Can't they legally rip you off if you aren't the business owner? Also, you know if the caller's phone number is repeated as the "name" in the caller I.D., it's a scam call.
I received a call from this number today, only one so far. I did not answer and no voicemail was left. I continually get calls from unknown numbers and have made it a standard practice to let calls from unknown numbers ring (I've read that "clipping" a call will also get recognized as a working number, meaning more calls in the future) and then I Google the number to see if it is someone I should call back, but really, someone legitimate trying to reach me would normally leave a voicemail. If I see the number on a site like this I simply add it to my blocked caller list of numbers as I add up the amount of times I've added my number to the do not call registry.
