i did have a subscription to the paper but cancelled it. They have continued to call inspite of the fact I have requested them to stop 3 times, the 4th time I called them back leaving a message for them. I also reported them to the Do Not Call Registry. I will never buy their paper again even if its the last piece of paper i need for use in the bathroom.
These people are unbelievable. I phoned them on 11 September and cancelled my subscription to commence 01 October -- I received a cancellation confirmation email. Yes, the paper stopped but I still had my credit card debited in October. When I phoned they advised that I had cancelled the "paper" edition but had not cancelled the "internet" edition. I told them I had never ordered the internet edition and to cancel AGAIN and refund my money. It is now 12 November and not only do I not have the refund from October they charged my credit card AGAIN in November. When I return home I will NOT ever subscribe to this newspaper again. No wonder newspapers are going out of business. So today I phoned home to collect my phone messages and these idiots are phoning me to restart my subscription when it's in "vacation mode." Are they stupid?
TNJ drives me crazy. I had to tell them I was leaving the state and closing my checking account (the latter is true) in order to get them to take NO for an answer. That was last week. NOW I am getting 4 calls a day from their numbers, 302-324-7724, 302-482-8388 and 302-304-3167. ARGH!!!!
i have never had a subscription to this crappy newspaper but still they call over and over. i have reported them to the do not call registry, asked them to stop multiple times, left messages asking them to stop but it continues. they are relentless.this is harassment.
This number calls constantly = it is the News Journal. They aren't respectful enough to even leave a message. If they continue, will stop my subscription.
