Got a message from this number claiming to be from the Department of Treasury and saying something threatening about what it would mean if I didn't call back.
It's funny, he speaks with an accent and talks about Magistrates etc.
Hire some people that actually plausibly sound like they work for the Treasury.
Hilarious.
Got call from that number this morning at 8:01am (geez) with same threatening vm. Called before I even listened to vm. Guy who answered informed me that everything being seized (he couldn't even pronounce my last name correctly and I never confirmed who he was speaking with). To make long story short, I played along until I got tired of playing along and told him to stop calling my number because I'm not falling for his bs scam call and to get a real job and they had better remove my number from their scam list. He hung up. I called back repeatedly and THEY had to audacity to get mad! Female actually asked why do I keep calling to which I advised YOU CALLED ME FIRST. The most hilarious part is when I asked "since when does the I.R.S. call people" response - "were NOT the I.R.S. - this is the Department of Treasury" . . . WOW! I called back about 12 times. They were PISSED!
