These jerks called and I answered and said hello twice. Twice is enough. I hung up. Then I picked back up to do *69. The guy was on the phone and said Hello. I hung up on him. They call here all the time. I'm in the Atlanta, Georgia area.
I received a call from this number twice in 10 min. The first time was a young woman and she was nice enough when I enformed her that the AT&T customer was not available. The second call was from a very rude young man. When he asked fir the AT&T customer at this residence (we are a business) I said, "I'm sorry but I just received this call a few..." when he inturepted with "Whatever." and hung up. What can be done about these incredibly rude calls?!?!
Having the same problem. I think I may have had the same guy you did. He called every line on my account repeatedly for over an hour. I could see from the caller id it was him so I would pick up and hang up but he continued to call. So, I left that line off the hook and when I did, he began calling the other lines on my account. Go Away!!
Mary, Talk to this loser and find out what company he works for then call your Attorney General of your state. What you are describing is a clear cut valuation of law and packs a big enough fine and penalty that the government will go after them.
They just called me and the man said he was from Burnham Communications, At&T's largest secondary company. I googled the number as soon as he started talking and when I told him I wasnt interested based on online reviews of his company and he hung up on me. Then called back again and hung up when I answered.
