3 calls from this number with the same computer generated voicemail claiming IRS lawsuit. I believe it's a scam because IRS would not call, they would mail a letter and I have nothing outstanding with IRS, so I'm not worried. Scary that someone could be scammed by this though.
Caller with a prerecorded message claiming the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me. They also claimed an urgent callback was nessesary. This is the exact same message I received from 302-544-1937 yesterday.
I have had the exact same experience as Craig: Same message about IRS filing a lawsuit against me. On Friday, the callback number was 302-544-1937. On Saturday, the callback number was 302-333-5754. My online research has led me to the conclusion that this whole thing is part of an "IRS" Phone SCAM!! These types of scams are rampant every year following tax season. From what I have read, from reputable sources, these scam attempts are on the increase this year (2016). Do not fall for this bogus business!!
