Called this am and began by asking "how are you?"
a stranger and con artist and manipulator woke me up..

Have asked repeatedly to remove number from list
should  be reported to our local police
How do they sleep at night?

Called me and asked for me by my maiden name. I said they had the wrong number and hung up.

Interrrupted me with a call from 302-340-9610.
Asked, "Could I please speak to the homeowner, please?
I asked, "Who is calling?"
AT one point, she said it was a "courtesy call"
I asked, "What is the call in reference to?"
SHe would not give a reason on the phone. Her tone was as a mother speaks to a 5th grader.

They would not say who was calling and continued to ask for the homeowner and asked if I was homeowner.
I asked who it was who wanted to speak to homeowner.
THey started acting as if they had a right to be calling and said they had asked 3 times to speak to homeowner.
I told them I had asked 3 times who was calling.
The lady then began telling me that she would just have to call back another time.when she could speak to someone
I told her clearly, ..:  "DO NOT CALL.. DO NOT CALL  DO NOT CALL BACK)
As I hung up without waiting to talk to her further, the lady said she was calling "about instpections."

I see that some have reported this as a "chimney sweep"
There is nobody who needs to inspect the home, and IF there were, they would just say that up front.

Called but left no message.
