I've been repeatedly getting calls from this number too. I do have a BOA account, but I had never even given them the phone number they were calling, nor have I received any other notifications indicating that they had been trying to reach me.
Perhaps I'll try the call-forwarding game this time!
Called once 2 days ago with "BANK OF AMERICA" on the caller ID. Online White Pages lists it as a landline in Delaware. If it was really BOA, the number would not be listed as "private". I Selectively Forwarded the number to the News Tip Hotline of a tv station in Texas.
So today, I noted on my online Call Log that I "missed" SIX calls from this number! Good. If I DID have a BOA account, then I would have written correspondence if it was important. So logic dictates that this is a scam. Let that Texas News Hotline get pissed enough to do a REAL investigative report!
ME? I'm in nirvana minus the bullsh** phone calls...

Same ole shat, different day. I'm checking my diverted call logs online, and I notice that now the scammer is calling with "Out-Of-Area" on the caller id...as if I'm stupid. Hahaha! I don't hear a THING! The punk's STILL being re-routed out of MY area!
