WCA Subscriber Services is just another tel-marketing firm bent on making peoples lives miserable by their robotic calls twice or three times a day. A form of barely legal vocal terrorism that Ma and Pa America has to endure because they have no clue as to how and fight back. Companies like this are disgusting and all that has become wrong with what was a great country to live in.

I was referred to their attorney:

A call to SD Heyman got me transferred to a voicemail and never received a returned call.
A google search reveals no SD Heyman in Encinitas, CA.
I suggest that anyone receiving calls from WCA subscriber services calls these places for every call they receive. If they won’t provide or honor an opt-out, I suggest we flood their phones with as many calls as they give to us.

That was a great idea! The only thing wrong with it is that he does work for them so it won’t take long to get his name off their list. What I suggest is add his number and name to other companies he does not represent and not just one or two – how about 500 or more – enough that he can’t conduct business so maybe he will think about representing scum companies like this!

got a voicemail from wca sayin my home had won a free security system. when i called back and sarcasticly asked how this was possible seeing as how i dont own a home, the representative, who barely spoke english (real shocker), told me that it wasnt wca that had called, BUT, i was eligable for 2 25 dollar gift cards, for ”my home”. i then informed her that i had let my voicemail pick up, and redialed the number, and was now on the phone with her. she insisted that they hadnt called, but wanted to give me 2 gift cards, if i would give them some information. i told her i didnt want the cards, i wanted the cash value of the alarm system (value of the two years free service included), and since i didnt currently own a home, i assumed that ment they were buying me a home. i then asked for her home phone number and address, if she had children, and if she considered herself attractive. she hung up, and when i call back, it says “your subscription has been cancelled, goodbye”. havent heard from em since.

THANK YOU! I phoned the 800 number for the Firebrand Group and the girl who answered the phone said she could put my number on the Do Not Call list. I asked if it was just another ploy to confirm they have a good phone number and she assured me it was not, and that within 48 hours I should stop receiving calls from them. Not sure how much I trust her, since she said she’s just temping there, but she sounded sincere and apologetic and gave me her name, which is Jennifer. We’ll see if it works.
