We have 3 phone numbers in our house...the one phone number they call happens to be the number that Dtv has on file for us. Obviously someone has access to Dtv's customers numbers. I am in South Florida...wonder if this is happening elsewhere or just down here...
This is also happening in Arizona. We got our first call today, they didn't leave a message, so I checked the caller ID and entered the phone number into Goggle and I'm reading all of the posts regarding getting annoying calls. We've also got an unlisted number and we're on the DNC list. After reading all of the comments, we'll know what to do.
This number does belong to Directv. I paid the $2.00 to find out the owner of the number. I have contacted Directv and demanded that they stop calling me repeatedly day and night. My account is current, so it's not them trying to collect on a past due bill. Can only assume it's telemarketing.
