Got two calls from these people tonight. All my phone showed was two missed calls from 302-394-9566 and then "Restricted" whatever that means. I have no clue who they are however if they knew me and wanted to contact me they know the drill, and that wasn't it.
I called this number with my caller ID blocked. An automated attendant picked up and allowed me to un-subscribe. You must call from a number that is not in the database or block you caller id for the auto attendant to offer the un-subscribe to pick up. Block Caller ID by dialing *67 before dialing the number.
They claimed to be WCA and asked if I owed the IRS taxes. They then connected me to Franklin Tax Experts. The guy asked me a hundred questions about income, rent, utilities etc. I played along with their whole scam.
I wasted 25 minutes of their time and will waste even more if they call back.
Ignoring their calls or hanging-up on them doesn't hurt them at all.
But if you waste their time then you're costing them real money.
