The automated message that said it was the IRS, & they had been trying to reach me, & this was my final warning. They said the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me, and I must immediately call 302-419-6106. I pay my taxes like clockwork, so this is definitely a scam.
Just received a call but since I didn't recognize the number and don't know anyone in Delaware, didn't answer. They left a message but couldn't get who they were but left a phone number and said something about an open case and I needed to contact them immediately. I figured it was probably a scam and after reading other notes left here, I know it is. If they are the IRS, they will send you a letter. They won't call you.
