Please remember that the IRS DOES NOT call you about problems. It is a scam. You can also alert your local police or the Attorney General's office about it.
I've been getting calls claiming they are the IRS and to call back that number. They call me every day. Yesterday it was at 7am. Today it was 6am. ARRGH!!
Three calls today from this number claiming to be the IRS and it is urgent to call the number back or legal action will be initiated. Hope they are taken down hard very soon by the IRS.
I received a call from a RESTRICTED line on my cell phone. When I answered it was an automated message saying i had to call the IRS at 302-440-8195 urgently or legal action will be taken. I thought this was very suspect so I returned the call from another phone line and the man that answered had a strange accent. BE AWARE!!!
