Called saying " you have been on-line asking about jobs" - I'm 70 yrs and handicapped and do NOT want a job... !!! These are harassment telemarketer calls and should be prosecuted!!
I didn't answer when this name called this time, but I got a "you have been online asking about jobs" call recently as well. So this must have been that one again. Like Mary above, I am very much not in the market for a job! I have a good one, thanks. Very obnoxious.
I answered this number since it appeared to be local and the person said that they were calling in response to an online survey I submitted and had indicated that I would be interested in job opportunities. I asked him "what survey?" and that I didn't recall filling one out. He said that they could build a profile in their system to help me find a job that may be a good fit. I told him that I'm very happy in the job I have now. He hung up.
Called my cell-phone, so the only display it showed was the number they were calling from. I answered (thinking it was a local call) and called asked about my recent on-line survey that I completed. I asked him "what survey" - I didn't recall any that I had done - and told him he was calling a private cell phone. He said the survey indicated that I was interested in finding a job. I knew it was bogus at that point since: a) I know I didn't do any on-line survey recently, and b) I've had a steady job for the last 10+ years.
Told him was interested and to put my # on the DNC list. Probably won't do any good since my cell# is already registered on the Federal DNC list already.
