Have been receiving calls from this number for about a week now.. Once or twice a day. Everytime I answer it is dead silence, and then they hang up. I cannot call the number back, and when I don't answer they don't leave a voicemail. I don't get it!!
A foreign woman, I would guess Indian called from this number and asked for my husband by name, I stated that he was unavailable and asked what was the call regarding. She stated, “it’s about his medication.” I asked for her number so that he could return the call and she called hung up. It’s clear that it was not a legitimate call.
Someone called me from this number today. A woman with a latin accent. She was selling investments in a real estate development in Costa Rica. I didn't write the company name down, but I googled it at the time and the company had a facebook page, but no copany page or other hits. Probably not legit, seeing how many different posts are here.
CLLD ME TO SAY I WAS PICKED AS A RECEPIENT OF $500 OVER 6MONTHS FROM THE GOVERNMENT SINCE I WAS A GOOD TAXPAYER AND HAD NO CRIMINAL RECORD. THEY WANTED TO VERIFY MY ADDRESS. I HUNG UP AFTER THE PERSON WAS READING OFF MY CORRECT ADDRESS. THIS PERSON SOUNDED LIKE HE WAS CALLING FROM INDIA. VERY SCARY. A POLICE REPORT HAS BEEN FILED. AND CREDIT REPORTING AGENCIES HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED.
