Not sure if this is the number that the call originated on since it came up as just an "unknown caller" but this is the number they said I could call to verify what they were telling me. Was a call from a man with a heavy india accent telling me that "my computer has been sending out thousands of error messages in the last 2 weeks and that they will help me fix it before it crashes if I will give them remote access to my computer". He also said he worked for a company, Global Network Support (gns24x7.us), and that they are Microsoft certified technicians. Claimed his name was Jack Parker. Also talked to his supervisor, James Franklin, who told the same story. Figured it might be a scam so I wouldn't cooperate.
All the other posts on here are from several years ago. Looks like they might be re-surfacing.
