They called me - no offer of gas card or request for water test. Answered their questions about the quality of my water. They called back 20 minutes later (different voice) and asked for my husband, who was not home. Hung up on me before I could even get the words out of my mouth. Called five times in the course of the next day while we were away. Called the next evening, I got the call. Asked for my husband again and I asked them to stop calling. If they call one more time I'm escalating it.
Called me, said they were atlantic water, had a survey, tried to give me free gas card etc. but with a water test (in home). When I said no, they hung up on me, even though I did the survey. I called back, they wouldnt answer. Hinky!
SUCCESS!!! I answered on the first ring tonight and the girl got out as much as the company she was calling from.....Atlantic Water! I interupted her to ask her why she was calling and the call was disconnected.
I googled the company and found out that they're local....based in New Castle Delaware.....I called their offices back and asked if they telemarketed---they admitted "YES" and confirmed the numbers (544-7131, 7133 and 7138 are the ones that call here daily). I DEMANDED that they take our phone# out of their system. We're on the National Do Not Call list, and I SWEAR, if they call here again.....I WILL file a complaint with the FCC
