I got 3 calls from this number this morning. 2 of which were only 1 minute apart. i did not answer bc i was sleeping but my sick daughter who was in bed with me woke up screaming because the phone had scared her. i have to keep my ringer on because i have a very ill grandfather that could get worse at any time so i have to keep the ringer on for that reason. Is there any way to make these phone calls stop?
yeah I have gotten more then 10 calls from this number 302-555-4444 Thankfully I do answer any calls of which I do not know the numbers to... and I say that if its not important enough to leave a fricken message, then its not important enough for me to call them back. I miss a lot of calls, but this number has repeatedly called me today (Sept. 12th, 2011), and I have not picked up, so NO Voicemail/Message, NO call back from me!
I am also very good a looking up numbers as well, and I just turn to Google type in "area code" or "country code" then the number or just look up the number itself. And I decided to post this here, because I have been seeing more and more people getting annoying &/or harrassment calls from all these "auto dialer" dispatches, or companies, and also from computers as well.
Where this number looked a bit off I mean come on 555-4444 doesnt that seem a bit off to you as a normal number? So my guess is its an auto dialed number sequence dialed from a computer, as this number seems too weird for a legit land line, or cell phone number, other then a radomized computer sequence auto dialer dialed from a computer. So this reply is for all who are also getting called & harrassed by this number and others as well. This is why I only tell people my reg. cell phone number, and only give out my business cell phone to important people, that wont sell or distribute your regular cell number to everyone! And then you never pick up your reg. cell if you do not recognize the number. So like I always say if I dont recognize the number, I dont pick up, and no msg/voicemail, then no call back from me. I am too busy to answer my phone all the time, and/or let alone answering to numbers as weird as this. That is what answering machines & voice mail is for.
# 302-555-4444 is constantly calling me ALL day long and into the night. VERY annoying. no one speaks and then it disconnects... try calling it back and it says that # is no longer available...
They are payday loan company. I answered and got a gentleman if you want to call him that named "Chase". Before he could launch into his spiel I immediately asked to be removed from the list. He told me I didn't even know why he was calling and because I had received a number of calls I looked up the number on various sites to figure it out. I told him I didn't want what they were offering and he told me I was ignorant. I told him not to speak to me that way and immediately hung-up on him. The phone calls have stopped
They called and I told "Chase" that I would call the Sheriff, whom I really do know and live across the street from, and he said that no one in "KANSAS" would do anything! That is where I live and that REALLY pissed me off! I told him I wanted to talk to his supervisor and he said he was the sup. I don't know but something will be done about this!!!
