Both the House and the Senate were in Republican control until 2007. You cannot hold one senator (form the minority, at that!) accountable for how the majority voted on anything. Please learn a little about how our political system works before speaking out.
Start by turning off network news and turning to something educational. May I suggest "I'm just a bill" by Schoolhouse Rock? That seems to be on your level.
