I just received the exact same message word for word with the same reference number. Definitely not calling it back. I am glad I looked on here. Thanks to all of you!
This is the return phone call number given in a message left by the phone number 888 240-5817.. It must be a sales person. They gave me a reference number and told me to look at the supply charges on my current electric bill and they would discuss discounted electric supplier charges. It absolutely has to be a sales person.
Left message that Says she is calling about supply services for my account. Did not leave name or company. Gave me a case number and a different number to call back from what caller ID Showed. Very suspicious
This is the message I received from 888-240-5817. "Yes this is Mrs. Patterson. I'm calling in reference to the supply charges on your electric account. Please return my call at 302-703-0360 and have a copy of your statement with you to review your discounted supply service. Your reference number is 01014. Thank you." Sounds like a scam or a sales pitch call to me.
