Got a call from 302-281-4744. Caller left a message identifying himself as Richard Liebowitz from NAM, calling about "an important legal matter," and gave a bogus case number claiming a legal complaint regarding a debt (which he did not describe) had been filed. Said I had until the end of the day to call back before further action would be pursued. Also contacted my family members. This is a scam. After I stopped laughing I reported him to the Delaware AG.
This number has called my cellular phone once per day, for the past two days. I refused to answer all calls from this number. The caller ID shows that the number is from Delaware.
A voicemail was left each time. The call is of a recording spoken by a human female voice, except for my first and last name which is a computer robot voice.
The message in its entirety is as follows:
"Hello. My name is Samantha, from NAM, LLC. This message is solely intended for [MY NAME].
Our office has received some important information concerning and attached to your name and social security number.
This matter is time sensitive and must be relayed to immediately.
We suggest that you contact our claims office right away so that we can explain in detail the purposes of this important matter.
Your failure to reach us may result in this issue being forwarded for further action.
Contact us directly at 1-786-708-4125".
I have no outstanding debt. I have not spoken directly to a representative of this company, so I can not provide any additional information for this report. I refuse to accept any calls from this company going forward.
*****do don't pay these people, call the new york attorney generals office and advise them that an illegal company ran by a convicted felon named cosimo lanzetta whom is barred from opereating a collection agency. Also call his debt supplier plaza services aka mla group need be and help stop the illegal tactics. I received a message from them yesterday also. They said it was their last attempt to reach me and if I didn't respond by the end of the day they were going to forward my info. To whom I do not know. And now guess what ! They just tried to call me again this morning. I was excited to hear they wouldn't call me anymore but I guess that was a scam also. They left a call back number of 786-708-4125
