The do not call registry cannot prevent outright criminals, such as the "card services" scammers from calling us. legitimate businesses obey the lists, fraudulent enterprises do not.
Just got a call from this number showing "Mary Stewart" as the name. Talking about card services and an option to lower credit card interest rates. I never spoke with an actual person. It was a recording with no identifiable information as to what company is affiliated with the number. It's not trustworthy.
I received a call says Mary Stewart to and same think Rachael from card holder services seems bogus to me. I agree and do a google bar search on that phone number it doesn't even appear to be in the US
Saw a call from Mary Stewart 302-764-5921, on Caller ID, alarmed, because I know someone by that name and we have a mutual friend in poor health. As the area code is not from around here, I had the presence of mind to check this site first--THANKS for posting! Not her, so I didn't call anyone and get people worried! One of these days a call ctr w/n 100 miles of here is going to bug me and I'm hopping in the car and paying a call on them!
