Oh, the four years of over-charged tuition that I paid for my daughter wasn't enough of a donation?? My great grandmother was the first woman to graduate from UD, making my daughter her great, great granddaughter. I made sure the university knew that fact. During the graduation ceremonies in 2005, the speaker went down a very long list of legacies who were in attendance as part of the class of 2005. Not one mention of the fact that the great, great granddaughter of the FIRST woman to graduate from their institution was in the class of 2005. And now the University of Delaware wants more of my money?? Yeah, right...not a chance of that ever happening!!
Just got a call from this number. Was due to be enrolled in this fall as a freshman, due to incompetency and less than friendly staff, decided to take my money elsewhere. Still getting mail to donate because my family is the family of a "current freshman". Keep in mind i withdrew my offer of admission about 5 months ago- shows how concerned with students Delaware is. will never spend a dollar at this university- stay away!!
