Have gotten calls several times from this number promoting a "free heart scan" offer for people in the Denver metro area. From what little information the caller provides, this is on behalf of Heart Scan.com. The problems with this are twofold: one, the company supposedly sponsoring this offer is for-profit, and therefore does not fall under the charitable organization Do Not Call List exemptions; and two, the company is located in Walnut Creek, CA. The company website shows no indication that they're planning on expanding their service area; an e-mail to them has not yet gotten a response.
A detailed information search shows it as an unlisted number issued by MCIMetro, with the carrier listed as Level 3 Communications, LLC. Given some of the other call reports on this number, it's probably safe to say that it goes to one of the skeezier boiler room operations that isn't picky about the contracts that it takes. Is it a scam? No idea, but better to play it safe.
I don't own any type of visa cards, debit cards, i actually don't even have a checking acount. These people are tellin me thank you for keeping my visa card active and want to send me stuff and get my information.
The same here, no one on another end (so far 4 calls in the row), plus the same from unknown number. Is any way to stop it? My phone number on do not call list directory. :-(
