This Comenity something. No one ever there and doesn't leave messages. I use silence as my default ringtone so I don't hear them call and when I look at my missed calls and see them I block them. There are 37 different blocked numbers from these "people" on my phone. Tried once to tell them I'm not who they're looking for. Anyone I want to hear from I've assigned a ringtone to. Doesn't make them go away, but at least I don't have to listen to them calling anymore. Can't get rid of them, so I silenced them and that works for me.
Received a few calls form this number. Called them back and talked to a lady. Call was from World Financial Network National Bank. They service retail stores such as Express and Pacific Sunwear. I did some shopping at Express last week, so I guess that's why they were calling. I asked to be put on their do not call list. Let's see if this works.
A while back, my cousin stays overnight due to county residency requirements of her employer. She has her own home. Somehow this bank or some datamining company figured since she was using this place as a residence, that the phone number that is regsitered to me, was her phone number. I told them to stop calling, and if they need to contact her use the postal system. The jerk Zack did not want to hang up without leaving a message or getting a different phone number because he had "time-sensitive" information. yeah right.
Same here. Would not let me take a msg, would not leave an additional number or would not tell me which company he was calling from. (How hard is it to google the phone number from which they are calling from?)
After a while when I continued to inquire, he becme beligerent & hung up on me.

The call was for someone who previously had lived at my residence.
Apparently they needed to contact the person they were trying to call for a past due acct. (collections).
FYI, hey, stay away from the company World Financial Network National Banks (the phone number comes up as "ADS"). They will not take "NO!" for an answer, they are nasty, & it seems they out for "blood."
I got this call because I did some shopping on Eddie Bauer.com. I went to https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx to add my phone to the National Do Not Call List. Haven't gotten a call from them since.
