Reviews & Complaints
BBB has identified a potential pattern of complaints. Specifically, consumers allege Billing or Collection Issues stating that they were wrongfully sent to collections, incurred unauthorized charges or were overcharged.
BBB received a response from the business on June 24, 2015 addressing the aforementioned issues. The business stated that accounts are only sent to collections when delinquent and past due. According to the business, the Fair Credit Reporting Act allows them to report on a delinquent account after 30 days; however, for the benefit of the consumer, they push out their right to report to eight months past the original 30 days. If the consumer pays their bill within this time period, there is no adverse credit consequences of non-payment. BBB will continue to monitor the complaints.
BBB shows 108 complaints!

Call from a variety of numbers. Rude employees, failure to ID themselves, refusal to take anything but an over-the-phone payment. Sometimes refusal to send written evidence of debt. Bad records. Endless harassing calls to the wrong party. General lack of professionalism. Use of flaky “process servers” to Intimidate debtors. Some suggestion that overseas contract employees are used. Same old, same old grungy money-grubbing, debtor-intimidating debt collector we all know and dislike.

Just because someone on the phone calling you says you owe a debt does not mean you actually owe it.
If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:
1. Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2. Demand a debt validation letter by US mail. E-mail no good.
3. Do not pay the collection agent or anyone else a dime until the debt is validated
Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply ignore them and block their calls.
If they are bothering you, report them:
http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection (Threatening civil proceedings with no intent to follow through, or threatening criminal process in order to collect a civil debt is a violation of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.) The same goes for endless telephone harassment
Also contact your local attorney general
If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion. Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved. Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.
You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.
You have to get tuff with these people because, being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking), the only thing they understand.
I do not know why you are caliing my cell phone for a John M., but you have a wrong number. He no longer has (970) 308-0290. I am on the "Do Not Call" Registry and have listed your name and number on it now.
Has been calling for months, typically leaving a recorded message (these calls sometimes show up as "Unavailable"). Finally started calling with a real person, asking for someone who is not me.
This is my personal cell phone number, and I'm rather irritated about the whole thing.
I did receive a call from them too. I did have a debt, but when I contacted the people I owed money, they said they had never used a collection agency and did not understand why they were contacting me. After reading this, I wonder if they had someone stealing files and passing it to them. They asked me again for my name, aren't they a collection agency? The story is too fishy. I had to go to Ripoff Report to figure out what was going on with them. After paying my debt directly to the people I owed money to, they kept calling. The woman was very rude to me. She had called once every month for the last 3 months and every time she keeps telling me I have to call her back with my credit card information or else. What's going on? Some things does not seem to fit the whole picture. They also use these phone numbers 1-303-537-2900, 1-800-864-3870
