Called at 11am. Asked if I would like to support our troops coming home with disabilities. He said there was a red, white or blue donation tier of $50, $30 or $20. Said they would mail me an information packet and I could send my donation back to them. When I said I would most likely send money, he asked if I was 100% certain that I would like to pledge a donation. I told him I would wait for the packet of information to come in the mail and then decide. He thanked me and hung up without taking my name or address. I hate people who use the military to try to scam people out of their money. Disgusting!
Said he was with Disabled Veterans and and asked for me name. I immediately told him I was not interested and to take me off their list. He just kept talking well actually yelling and I hung up!
Asked for another person by name and when I told them they had the wrong number they said maybe I could help. Then they started their spiel about disabled veterans.
