Called and stated it was about my car. When asked how he got my number, he said is was from Ford, and that was how he got my number. When asked what this call was about again, he said, "because you don't have a warranty on your car". I told him that there was a reason I didn't have a warranty, because it was almost 10 years old. When I said that, the caller responded with, "That don't mean s#&t!" and hung up!
Woman said she was from the Honda Auto Companies .... and disconnected. I don't own a Honda auto. Motorcycle, yes, car, no. Motorcycle companies do not solicit. They know better than to alienate their client base.
Received call on 4/23, didn't answer. Called number back later and got recording saying "thank you for calling the auto department" followed by prompts to press 1 if interested in mechanical breakdown protection, or press 2 to be put on the do not call list. Reported to FTC on the DNC site, as I've been registered on the national do not call list for 8+ years.
