Someone connected with this company, identifying itself as Service Contract Division of KVR, lists its address at 2660 Palm Aire Drive North, Pompano Beach, Fl. 33069, with a return phone number of 1-866-955-7621. At that address, in the mid-2000s, there was a company called Automotive Wrranty Advisors, Inc. It was rated "F" by the BBB; there is an alert for this business.
At Whocalled.us and here at 800notes I found evidence of two earlier reports about this company, 5 Nov. 2008, and 31 10 2012. The people filing the complaints told of how they had received phone calls from the company. Whocalled.us commented for the alternate phone number 1-800-531-1925 that this is a "warranty service". "They would not have called you unless you had a policy with them." I have a service contract, but with another company. What is going on here I can only imagine. But the notices are written to be frightening and confusing.
