haha, I work with this company. to everyone on here, we are a call company that gets hired by most large auto insurance companies to give people free auto insurance comparison quotes with the said company. So, if you listen to the call (which it sounds like nobody really did, but whatever) we tell you we are with X auto insurance company and we want to give you a free quote. Allstate and others hire us so that their agents can call people back and push them into switching insurance.
For sure the agents are pushy and try to sell you something if you get the free quote, but all we do is take down basic info.
Also, there's nothing sketchy about us, if you don't want us to call you back, say "put me on the do not call list" we are trained to do so, legally obliged, and if we fail to do so, we get fired, and can get fined up to 11,000 dollars, so nobody wants that, and everyone obliges. take some time to listen to the PERSON who is talking to you, and youd know all this info on your own, instead of spouting about conspiracies, and dead lines, and teenagers, and this should be illegal, and blah blah blah. just say dont call me, and we wont. that simple.
or take a free quote, can't hurt, we arent all that bad, who knows maybe allstate really can save you money on car insurance.... if not, you wasted TWO MINUTES on a phone treating me like a human being. which is much more than i can say for most people.
also, its called bolder calls as a play on words. we are bold, but also located in boulder. boulder is the name of the city in which i live. in colorado. its beautiful, check it out, skiing and hiking and mountains and such. more days of sun than anywhere else in the us. anyways, its definitely not an intentional misspelling of our company name to fool all of you. we've got nothing to hide.
Let me tell you about this company that you work for. 1. they call constantly, 2-3 times a week, no one leaves a message and if you answer the call, you get hung up on as soon as you say hello. 2. I have finally started calling the number back. It rings, get a recording that says "please hold for the next available operator" then you get another recording (no surprise there) that says 'no operators are available, please leave a message and someone will get back to you". 3. NO ONE GETS BACK TO YOU!!! 4. I have now called twice in one week, given my name and number and told them if they are going to call to leave a damn message so I know who the hell they are, and that I DO NOT WANT ANY MORE PHONE CALLS!!! I can guarantee that they will NOT stop calling and I am going to report them. I have had enough of these damn phone calls where there is no message left, you answer and no one there/you get hung up on, or you call back, get a recording, leave them a message, and nothing happens. It is time for me to get a phone that blocks this stupid [***] company you work for so that these calls stop...oh and another thing...I have registered my number with the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY a few time during the year to make sure that I don't get these calls, AND my number is listed as unpublished and private. Someone is breaking the law and eventually this company is going to wind up paying some hefty fines. So before you go defending this company you work for, listen completely to all the complaints here before you say that WE are not listening to you.
maybe we would listen if someone was willing to talk to us.. I answered several calls only to have the other person hang up, and when I let the machine get it, they hang up on that! Maybe you should read the posts a little more in depth before you go off on us... I get that you are just doing a job, but by the sounds there are some of your coworkers that aren't doing theirs! I would have been glad to tell them to take me off the call list, as this is what I normally do, but when they refuse to speak to me, kinda hard to do! Instead I had to put a block on my phone. As far as the legally obliged, I have been called again after asking to be removed. And it was after the 30 days!
anon you need to get a "real job" so you know that the company you work for is pathetic... and you also need to become more detail oriented, and take some reading comprehension courses... so that when you read something you comprehend it "ALL" not just what you want to...
