Just received a call from 303-532-3496. The caller ID said it was Walgreens. I answered, some automatic system addressed me by name, asked me to please hold.
I used to use Walgreens for all my prescriptions, so they should have my phone number on file.
We have a new Walgreens in the neighborhhod, I thought it might be a promo to obtain my business again.
When somebody came on, she said she was with Encore Collection Agency, and was collecting for GE Money bank.
I told her I didn't do business with collection agencies, and she politely thanked me, and said goodbye.
Calls twice a day. I've answered and no one says anything. Hangs up after 3 seconds or so on the line. When I've returned call, it says the number is not inservice.
states it is pharmacy and prescription is ready for pickup.
have no scripts at any pharmacy's caller id even said it was walgreens drugs. walgreens has no record of this number someone somewhere is starting some crazy crap.
Caller ID said it was Walgreens Drug Store but when I answered, it was a computer recording from BC Services. I hung up. If the person calling does not match the Caller ID, I'm not dealing with it. Too many scams out there.
It appears that this number is a possible attempt to commit fraud. The number should be reported to your phone company and the phone company that owns this number as well as the local authorities.
If we create a file on this number and the owner does in fact commit fraud, it will be easier for the victim to reconcile their loss.
The call was only the sound of a button being pressed. When I called back, it was busy.
Definitely some individual with a dialing machine. The use of one in Colorado is illegal.
