I had a call from them, they had my name but the message said they wanted to know if I knew someone else (whom I have no idea who the name is) and that they had my number as a possible number for that person. I figured it was a debt collector.
Answered call and was asked if I was a certain person. I asked what it was regarding. They said a personal business matter then asked for my birth date to verify who I was. I hung up. They didn't call back. Never give any personal info to strangers over the phone.
called asked for information I asked what this was about they said it was confidential so I told them my information is confidential; also I warned if they can't provide proper identification of who they are I would contact the sheriffs office provide both numbers they called from , also contacting district attorney to file harassment charges
