When you pick up the phone nobody is at the other end, so I said if you don't start talking and let me know what you want, I'm going to report your number. They hung up. They never leave a message. Don't answer the phone from that number anymore. Caller ID just says Longmont, CO.
Someone from this number called crying and saying she was my granddaughter and that she had been in a wreck and needed $3000 wired to her so she wouldn't have to go to jail. A man then got on the phone and told me he was the officer there and that my granddaughter had let her insurance lapse and was going to go to jail if i didn't wire the money. He gave me wiring instructions and I immediately went to Western Union to wire the money. I called my granddaughter's cell to ask her how bad she was hurt and she had no idea what I was talking about. She hadn't been in a wreck at all. The whole thing was a scam.
