I've been getting calls at night on my business phone from these jerks. Because its a business phone, I can't do anything about it. But you all can. They are breaking the law.

If you answer the phone, they must identify themselves either in person or by voice recording. They must give you the option to remove your number from their solicitation lists. They are not doing that. Also, they are calling under many different caller ID phone numbers.
I entered this number into the do not call complaint log, but afterwards, I found that political surveyers are not held to these laws.

Political solicitations are not covered by the TSR at all, since they are not included in its definition of “telemarketing.”
I do political surveys and when you tell us that your on the do not call list, we put "ref" meaning you refused. We can't do anything to take you off. The lists are usually gotten from Voter registration lists and if you gave them your phone no. there's nothing we can do. I explain that to people and 9 out of 10 times they understand. My advice is to give a no. one digit off.
