I called this number back because of the nasty message left that the last owner of my number was a creep and he and his wife continue to give out this number to evade debt collectors. The 303-578-5458 number is an attorney and the guy I spoke with was extremely rude. I explained that I don't know the creep and he and his wife but my research had shown they don't pay their debts. This number is managed by LEVEL 3 Communications (1877-325-3835). That's the company that the SAG needs to investigate. They "manage" our personal info and sell it off to the scammers. FYI, debt collectors can call but usually they are skip tracing, trying to locate debtors. The 303 number had the creeps name so I do think it's a valid attorney's number. If a process server does show up at my door, that attorney will be sued as he said he deleted my number. A couple of years ago, I got a call from the county sheriff's department for my daughter in law's brother indicating he was being served (like this call) . I called her and she blew it off and said oh my brother is probably late on his truck payment. He gets those all the time. Really? What bothers me is this number is not showing up on reverse lookup.

And for any debt collectors who like to post "people shoudl just pay their debts" remarks, YOU are the criminals. These are federal offences taking place and you can serve actual jail time and pay heavy fines, unlike the false threats you make to people who have situations which are unknown to you. You cause torment and distress to other human beings. If this is your job, you are working for a company that it putting you at risk. Do you really want to go to jail or pay thousands in fines for a job?
All consumers should be aware of the rights and report these criminals to your local Attorney General and the FTC. Only when the criminals see their brothers and sisters being held to the full extent of the law will these predetroy practices end.
303-578-5458 called our office today again to leave a message. The Colorado State Attorney General has been looking to prosecute these people since 2010. This is not a bill collection agency. It is a criminal organization. Our office actually handles real collections accounts. Real collections agencies do not call to tell you that you're going to be arrested, threatening to send your case to the district attorney, pretend to be criminal investigators or the police. They follow the law.

This may sound like a Ditto but the past few weeks I have received over 10 calls from this number and sometimes twice a day. Evidently, this number is actually "managed" by Peerless Network 1-888-380-2721. I called twice and left a message, but when I emailed them and explained that I have also gone State Attorney General, they responded that my number will be removed. Go the max and research who the "management" of our phone numbers are and post them. That's the source and we need to be aware. Please share. When you call them and they say they are not responsible, ask questions. "who did you sell my info to?" The source is the key.
I had a couple of months of reprieve and now they are starting again for those that had my number before me,,9 years ago. I complained to the State Attorney General and was sent a generic message. No. No. The previous owners and the debt collecters need to be investigated. Very SHADY. I called yesterday and said that I sent a complaint to the provider of their phone # and to the SAG but the lady did not care. If anyone out there has better options, go for it. The whole thing reeks of ID theft.
