I get a call at least once every week.  I do not take the call, but this person calls every week.  I am about to block the number.

Got a call this morning, from Kevin Alberts of Allen Partners. He has called here at least once before, left message to return his call to (303) 640-6291.

whocallsme.com says that this is a boiler room placing calls to U.S., U.K., Australia, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, for pump-and-dump stock scams. Caller is often described aggressive or rude.

They use many aliases: Kevin Alberts, Tim Dale, Nick Foley, Chris Rossi, Mike Vincent, Mike Dixon, Jason Burke, Colin Knowles, Cole Hill.

Mr. Alberts, the whole world is on your do-not-call list by now.

Eat feces and die.

Just got a call from this group and as soon as he started speaking I also thought of Boiler Room.  He said he was not going to waste my time, but the fact that I even her his spill for 20 seconds was a waste.

Good Luck!

Take it easy, people.

All firms make the same exact phone calls to the same exact businesses looking for business. It's how the industry has been run for DECADES. Even Goldman Sachs does the "cold calling" routine for new hired trainees. How do you think Goldman's business grew to the level they are at? By having a name everyone knows? NO, the name became what it is from HOW they conducted their business. Which is over the phone 90% of the time. There are strict rules that have to be followed in the securities industry which is free public information that can be found online.

Just because you received a call from a U.S. broker does not make them a scam. Do your diligence and run a background check on a broker before engaging in a conversation about investments. All I see on these sites is complaining and whining about scams and high pressure sales, etc... If you TRULY understood the real business world, you would know that you do whatever it takes to make a living. Some do it honestly some do not. That is BUSINESS. Find out about your broker through the FINRA or the SEC as all U.S. reps are registered federally. Ask a few questions before jumping on a website and assuming you know everything. Next time you get a call from a broker, ask them some questions and you may be surprised by what you come to.
