Rcvd calls on: 10/18/12, 11/4/12, and 2 calls today 11/7/12 at 7:46a & 7:47a. No messages have been left. Upon blocking my ph# and calling back a few mins ago, the recording says "Welcome to Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield..." I have no idea why they continue calling me, as I am not a member or a provider. I've instructed them to take my ph# off of their call list.

At least some of these calls are OK. The one recording i listened to was Anthem calling a doctor's office and kind of urgent in nature. They had an insured coming in for treatment who had lost their insurance card. Our medical office customers received 14 calls to this number in late July 2014.
Got a call - no message. Since it was Anthem Blue Cross, I called them back & got a recording giving me options but since I didn't know why they were calling, no options were available to me.

They have many Medical insurance names, as there has been a merger of insurance companys accros the country. They are also a provider insurance company, for extending benefits instead of straight Medicare.
Basicly, this number is a response line to your inqurie.
