RUDE TELEMARKETERS ... DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM. MAN CONTINUES TO CALL OUR PHONE NUMBER AND HAS BEEN TOLD SEVERAL TIMES TO TAKE US OFF HIS LIST. HE CONTINUES TO BE ARROGANT AND A PURE BOTHER DURING OFFICE HOURS. I WILL BE REPORTING THIS NUMBER TO THE FCC.
The caller identifies himself as being from "20/20." The assumption is that it is 20/20 the news magazine; however, it is really 20/20 Financial Consulting.

I received a call today and they said they were calling about a state tax lien on my husband. I informed her that we did not have any liens. She listed an address and asked if we lived there. I told we did not and had never lived there. She said she must have the wrong person. (She was actually pretty nice!)
Got a call today claiming caller was with a tax attorney law firm. Stated a tax lien has been filed on my husband. Told the guy he had the wrong person, that there is another one with my husband's name who resides in our town, and that we file jointly and don't owe any taxes.
I don't know what the rules of professional conduct for attorneys are in the state of Colorado, but in my state, it's a violation of the our State Bar's rules of professional conduct for an attorney to solicit business by telephone. I'm considering reporting the number to the ABA.
