I just received a call from this number on my cell phone, which is registered on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY! Didn't recognize the number and it wasn't associated with anyone in my address book so I didn't answer it. They also didn't leave a voice mail, so red flag there that it likely was a telemarketer. Googled the number and found others are receiving calls from the number. I too tried to call the number back and the operator reported that the number is out of service.
Called again today...Scamasshole automatically Blocked...Ringer for Blocked calls set to MUTE...So I didn't hear it!! Not an annoyance if you don't hear the RINGER!!
Scamasshole called again yesterday...Caller AUTOMATICALLY BLOCKED...RINGER STILL MUTED...Didn't notice the call till today! Scamasshole thwarted and so....MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!!!!!
"John", with a thick mid eastern accent, said I may be eligible for a medical alert device. He said he needed to ask me a few questions. I told him I was not interested and to remove my name and phone number from his call list. He said he would do so. We'll see.
