The same thing has been happening to me lately. Somebody keeps calling me from 304-445-5940 a lot and they never leave a message. When I call the number back I get 2 beeps, then a dial tone. I would like this person or company to be investigated and harrasment charges filed against them. These people are just calling to harras me and I want it stopped!
You can file your complaint on the registry’s website, www.donotcall.gov, using the File a Complaint page. You must provide the date that the company called you and the number that was called and respond to a question asking if the call was a prerecorded message. You may provide your name and address, but this information is not required for you to submit a complaint. You also may call the registry’s toll-free number 1-888-382-1222 (TTY: 1-866-290-4236).
It's a scam. The so-called company is Cardholder services. I called my credit card company and they said it's a scam. If you go through with it they charge 400.00 or so to your credit card. It's the second time they called. How can I report it?
I received a call from them at dinner time (so what else is new?). The caller ID said "Cell Phone WV." I let the machine take the call but no one left a message.
I got a call from this number earlier today while I was in the bathroom. I heard some woman speaking for about 2 seconds like they were leaving me a message, but then there was no new messages on my answering machine. That was strange! I am on the DO NOT CALL list, which apparently our government does not enforce much.
