My husband keeps getting calls from this number too. They keep asking questions about his mother. He has not spoke to his mother in over a year. He tells them this and they keep calling, 2 to 3 times a day. It is getting very aggravating. We don't have this information. Its not our debt so leave us alone!
This number shows up on the caller id almost daily and is associated with a debt that is WAY past the state statute of limitations. The call blocker takes care of it; the phone never even rings (delightful). The blocker does not answer the call, it simply switches the call to a port for an answering machine. But there is no machine hooked up to that port, so it rings to infinity on the caller's end (haha). (This thwarts telemarketers too, because if nobody answers their robo-calls, they can't confirm that it's an "active" number.) These desperate bottom feeders will get no info, no money, and if they sue, there is ample evidence to defeat them in court (already consulted a lawyer, just to be sure). Always keep a log of the date, time, number that called and any other pertinent info. Remember, if they violate any part of the FDCPA, you can consult a lawyer and turn the tables on the collector, to the tune of $1,000 per violation.
I have been receiving calls from this number as well. Like you said they never leave a number and they always call when I am work. I called and they stated that they did not have any record of calling me but I still get the calls everyday like clock work. It is very aggrevating.
