Got a call from this number. I didn't see my phone ring since I kept the volume off. Called it back. Guy spoke English. Knew my name and the last 4 of my social. Asked me to verify that info. I told him I wasn't verifying anything until he told me what it was about. He said he was trying to collect for Sprint Wireless. I have an active account with Sprint and owe them no money. I told him that much. He told me to hold a second. Put me on hold and after a minute or so hung up.

I called Sprint. They said this is the One ring scam. Told me if I see any strange charges on my bill to call them. Said I could be charged $19.99 (one time charge) and $9.99 per minute. She said Sprint is pending legal action against them.
