Called asking to take survey from a recent hospital visit and asked for the patient name. Creepy part she mentioned the correct hospital and name??? Connection sounded strange, my voice had an echo that repeated what I just said with a few second delay.. She mentioned she would have to talk directly to the patient only! When I asked for a phone number and name so I could call them back she said they were an outbound call center and could not take calls., so she would have to call me back.
I then called my local hospital and explained the call and they told me they did do satisfaction surveys but would come from their hospital with the same first 6 numbers and not out of town number. Hospital further explained they would not have any problem with providing me a call back name and number. Not doing so convinced them it was a scam of some kind and should disregard them if they call back, and NOT PROVIDE ANY INFO TO CALLER !!
