Did some research on the company United Pharmacy. Its a scam. They try to sell you pills. They later tell you they had problems with your credit card or debit card, and they halt the order. They ask you to click on a link to correct and confirm billing information, or submit information for another credit card. Whatever you do, do not order from this company, do not give out any information, no matter how many times they harrass you. It's a phishing scam, meaning they fish for information they could later use against you.
I answer the phone thinking its some other call I was expecting. No caller ID on this particular phone, so I didn't know who it was when I picked up.
Person on the other end of the line: (male voice speaking in a heavy accent) May I speak to Michelle?
Me: May I ask who is calling?
Person on the other end of the line: United Pharmacy in India.
Me: Sorry I don't know you.
I abruptly hang up the phone.
I do a call trace online. It says its a landline in Logan, WV. It only gives the initials J W as the caller's name. My caller ID says its a J Williamson. There is no reason why a company called United Pharmacy in India would be calling me.
that same number just called me and being that they didn't speak I did find their complete information online! Joe and Ollie Williamson on 408 Kanada Street in Logan West Virginia - Can't wait to post more about these strangers as I google some more :)
Received a call from this number (304-752-4151) last night @ 8:49PM. Our caller id displayed the number and "Out of Area". My husband answered and a woman was trying to sell him Viagra. He told her he wasn't interested and asked her to remove our number from their list.
I did some research this morning on Reverse Phone Lookup on Whitepages.com and found that the number that called is registered to a Joe and Ollie Williamson at 408 Kanada St., Logan, WV 25610-3708. I looked up the address on "Google Maps" and it looks like a residence and is located in the Southwestern part of West Virginia. (???) Massachusetts girl, noticed you found the same information. I'm planning on researching too, in addition to reporting them to the "Do Not Call" registry since we ARE registered. This is a number from inside the USA. We've gotten other calls, Viagra sellers, from outside the USA (India, Canada, New Zealand) that nothing can be done about. Please post if you find any more information and I'll to the same.
