This woman called from what she claimed was a magazine publisher company (Caller ID showed Charles Town, WV) wanting to know if my husband was getting his magazines okay. My husband dies not now, nor has he ever subscribed to any magazines. When I informed the woman of this fact & told her to remove our names & number from their calling list, she kept insisting that she just wanted to verify that my husband's info was correct & kept repeating his name & mailing address. This is the third call from a magazine company we have gotten in the past two days asking about my husband's "subscriptions" that he never had. My husband doesn't use a credit card & doesn't buy anything online, over the phone or through the mail with his debit card or checking account, so I would like to know how these companies are getting this info!! BTW, we are on the permanent National Do Not Call List.
